About this site
tommypowerz.de is my personal site. Not the company; that one lives at 3lite.com.
Original in German. Translated by Tank.
Who writes here
Me. Tom, born 1971, software developer in Berlin. In the scene I was Magic Drummer; Tommy Powerz came later, from the music.
The texts here are mine and carry the date they were written. A machine helps me with typing, translating and building. Where it translated, it says so.
What lives here
Three emulators that run in the browser: a C64, an Amiga 500 and an Atari 2600, all with their own firmware. There is no original ROM inside and no third-party server behind it. Plus a blog about retrocomputing, building emulators, circuit boards and artificial intelligence.
The music in the C64 comes from the High Voltage SID Collection, the demos in the Amiga from the scene archives. All rights remain with their authors; on request I take pieces down.
What this site does not do
It loads no fonts from other servers, embeds no script and no map from outside, sets no cookies and measures no reach. The typeface is my own 8x8 character set from the C64 project, generated from the source code at build time.
What data is processed anyway is explained in the privacy notice.
